Check out my Slide Show!
Saturday night we met up with some friends and we realized that the husband, Joe, was leaving for JRTC-its a military thing-and that it would be the last time we saw him. Our time here is about over and to be honest I am super excited. We have had some wonderful times here: hiking every weekend in an attempt to hike every trail around us, Lucy's bdays, Greyson's birth, Adam's very successful Army career and completion of LOTOJA, and my survival of being Primary President in both a branch and a ward. All of Lu's firsts: music class, preschool, real best friend (Satori), gymnastics, dance class, reading, etc etc. All of Grey's first (review blog for those). We have also had some difficult times: Adam's deployment, my ongoing neck problems and physical therapy, my Ulcerative Colitis (uggggghhhh), and moving 4 times in 4 years. But we are such a happy little family. We love and enjoy our time together more than before. So yes, I am ready to leave the North Country behind. But I will always be grateful for our time here and the family it has helped us to become.
P.S. If you put your cursor on top of a photo in the slide show it will stop the photo and tell you what the photo is. (You probably already know this, but I didn't!)

Week 3: Rummage Sale!
So I officially felt like my friend Cher this week. We had our first rummage sale or what you westerners call a yard sale. I even used craigslist to advertise-which is so Cher. And it was so fun! We made some dough, got totally sunburned (even my bottom lip which I swear now looks like that Bubba shrimp guy on Forrest Gump!), and ate way too many girl scout cookies-so good. Adam had the week off so it was a Friday and Saturday sale and we felt like it was very successful. I made 6 batches of cherry suckers and cheesecake suckers for Lucy to sell, it was her first selling experience, and she did great. All of the neighborhood kids are asking when the next batches will be ready. We only have 5 suckers left out of 70.
Dallas Update: We have finally decided where to move to. We are going back to an apartment which is a little scary but we can hardly wait for the pool, jogging trail to the lake, the lake, fitness room in winter, me feeling secure when Ad is on call at the hospital, and the close location to the hospital and school. Lucy's school is about a mile away and we can hardly wait to see her in the school uniform. I told her that she will have to wear navy blue bottoms and white or navy tops. She informed me that she does not look good in blue, that she looks good in pink. I was also able to talk to the bishop of our soon to be ward and he said it would be a good move for us. We don't think Ad will fly out to look at it so lets all cross our fingers that Val likes it!
Adoption Update: We really think we have everything in to the judge. He is being really picky about things but hope to have a court date by the end of this week. Grey is of course already ours but it will be so nice when all of the legal stuff is out of the way.
Grey Update: He LOVES his Yobaby yogurt!!!! Still no fruits or veggies.

It's Official, I'm 29
I had a great day with my family. Adam suffered through the shopping and Grey and Lucy did great even after 3 hours of shopping. I ate way too much and it was all carbs-yum! In my previous post I mentioned what Lucy was giving me, but what I didn't know is that it also included a certificate for a manicure. It was so sweet and she was so excited to give it to me so I had to include some photos. It was the perfect ending to a previously dreaded day.

Bushell Blog Week 2
So I haven't given up on blogging, and everyone was right it is fun! Adam has requested that I do it weekly so I keep up on the fam.
Adam is just about finished seeing patients at the Wilcox Dental Clinic. It will be the end of him working on adults and the beginning of his Pedo career. His clinic had a luncheon for him and all he got was this t-shirt!
Lucy had a great week. It was spring break here in the North Country. Lu got a break from preschool AND had a play date with her best friend Satori. Lucy and Satori are the same age and have the SAME bday. They love telling everyone that. So I made homemade mac and cheese for lunch, then let them decorate cupcakes (Lucy's choices). The cupcakes were so fun!
And for me, it is my 29th birthday tomorrow (Saturday, April 19th). Yes Chrissy I am admitting my age. Mainly because most of you already know it. I am going out tonight for a Girl's Nite Out for appetizers and dessert. Tomorrow Adam is taking me to Syracuse for some shopping and dinner. He has already given me a bunch of running clothes which I have been loving all week. I just couldn't wait until tomorrow to start wearing them. I am excited for my birthday because Lucy is so excited. Last night when I was tucking her in she said, "two more days until your birthday! Are you so excited?". Its hard to not let a child's enthusiasm rub off on you. She can hardly wait to give me my present and just so you don't have to wait to find out, it a hand mirror (I don't know!), green nail polish (because green in my fav), and foot cream (she knows I like foot rubs). I made Adam tell. But not only is it my bday it is my dearest and oldest friend's wedding day!!!!!! I am so excited for you Darcie I just wish my life wasn't so chaotic right now and I could be there. I love that we now share my day! Congratulations!!!!!!!

Lucy thought the frosting was the best!
Grey had two 1st's this week. First popsicle which he LOVED. But big sis Lucy loved it even more and stole it from him. Just like stealing candy from a baby. And first biter biscuit. I am so sick of Adam giving him the food he (as in Adam) is eating that I got Grey some of his own snacks-yummmmmm!

All About Grey
- Grey can roll from back to stomach, but has trouble rolling back because he gets high centered on his big belly. He also hasn't been able to reach and play with his feet yet. He is trying but that darn belly gets in the way!
- Grey HATES baby food. Adam and I usually end up with more spit on our faces and shirts than he does in his tummy.
- Grey LOVES to jump in his jumperoo. Jumperoos are awesome and put saucers to shame.
- Grey has already had 3 hair cuts. His hair finally started growing in the back so we are trying to let his fro grow.
- Grey's fav's: Big sis Lucy (she is so funny!), bath time, NOT sleeping through the night, cuddling, going on walks in his big boy stroller, putting anything and everything in his mouth, stuffed animals, and when daddy comes home from work.
- Grey's newest trick is hanging upside down off of mommy's knees.
