Photo Booth

As I mentioned before we got a Mac. When we were trying it out at the store this was Lucy's #1 reason for why we just HAD to have one. I think it was Adam's also!

Last Day of Summer

I told you I lost most pics and will post as I find them. Okay so these were taken at Hurricane Harbor Lucy's last day of Summer. I really thought she wouldn't be very brave cause she usually isn't. We started in the Wave Pool which went great she loved almost drowning several times. Then we decided to move to the water slides. She picked the Hawaiian Half Pipe for her first slide-seriously. Adam thought "there is no way I want to go down that, but what the hell I will take her up and she will see how high it is and how steep the slide is and change her mind". That did not happen and this was the result:
I screamed their whole way down. People stared at me but like I cared, my six year old was about to die! Lucy could not get ENOUGH of the slides. The higher the scarier the better. I was in awe of this chick. Way to go Lu! Just a note of how "Momish" I have become. I did go down one slide with Lucy-one of those tunnel twisty ones and that was enough for me. I was so motion sick! I have totally become Dianne (my mom).
Grey's FAV slide. He thought he was so big and brave. Lucy put up with going down it once for my sake so I could get a pic of the two of them together.
The Pineapple Express turned out to be Lucy's fav. You just went straight down on a mat on your stomach. Whatever!

YO GABBA GABBA!!!!!

Grey still loves Gabba.  In fact it is the ONLY TV he watches.  So when we heard Plex was going to be at Toys'R'Us you know we were all over it.  Lucy, Adam and I were so excited to see his reaction.  Grey's reaction when he first saw our dear friend Plex:  little overwhelmed, little scared, no facial expressions, just a Beavis and Butthead like chuckle.  So funny!  He really could not believe his eyes.  Grey never did dare to give Plex a high five but Grey did follow him around the store until some toys lured him away.  I do believe it was Grey's greatest moment so far in his 23 month life.
BARBIE!!!  The store conveniently had some Barbie dolls nearby that were buy 1 get one free, so Lucy got one for her and her best buddy Sara autographed by the doll herself!

So Far No Good

Still have not recovered our summer pics but I found a plethora of fun pics on my phone.  Some are summer and some are from the last school year.  All are priceless to me so I decided to post them all for my sake (and the family journal sake).

Airplane ride back from Utah.  Considering we had two stops before reached Dallas, I think the kids did AWESOME.
Lucy, Bubba the dog, and Grampie....we miss you both.
Cousin Autumn and Lucy all ready for Cheer Camp.  I took them shopping first to pick out cheer outfits.  They even got to be in the Kaysville parade.  Which I have the cutest pics of that are on my memory stick stuck in my laptop.  Suck!
Nanny, Gramie, and Lucy.  The four of us went to the Deseret Star Playhouse to watch a play.  The Grandmas enjoyed it much more than Lucy and I.  But we got to eat while watching which makes any activity fun:)
Okay these next four pics are from Lucy's school field trip to the Dallas Zoo.  I got to go and had so much fun.  We sure miss Lucy's buddies from Alex Sanger Elementary:(

Jalissa and Lucy on the tram.
Jalissa, Lu, Abigail doing the rabbit ears, and Dusy (as in rhymes with Lucy remember?!)
Grey's first day of Nursery coloring his first Nursery picture.  Awwwww.

Okay so these are so old but couldn't leave them out.  Easter at school.  They had an egg hunt for the kindergarten classes.  I got to help and watch 60+ kids collect a bajillion eggs in about a minute.

Okay so I am proud of this one.  Lucy and I decided to make an Easter treat for her class.  We did the birds nest and used Rice Krispie Treats for the nest, candy grass, jelly beans, and of course a YELLOW Peep (cause birds are really yellow said Lucy).  We were a hit and I was the coolest mom.
