Super Grey!

We found a new boy thing Grey just LOVES. After his bath we put the hood from his towel on his head and he loves to run around like a super hero. How do boys just know how to pretend to be Super Man? Well we couldn't post ones just after his bath (you know cause of nudity) but one night after bath time he still wanted a towel so Adam tied one around his neck. Another awwwww moment for us:)
And this picture? He wanted to wear Adam's glasses and Grey thought he looked so cool-seriously he did. Again another boy thing.

A Day at the Lake with Dad

Adam took just Lucy some sunday afternoon to feed the birds at the lake, and they came back with these awesome pics. I love the last four of Lucy actually feeding the geese. They (the geese) are pretty friendly and not afraid of people-especially if you are holding a bag of bread. If you look closely at the last picture you can see Lucy running away from the birds. They still make her a little nervous when they get too close.

Workin' Out

OK so these last three are hilarious. And I think PROVES that Adam is Lucy's Dad (in case you were wondering). It is a sequence of Lucy "running" into a pole. You know for a movie-that they will make some day. They both thought it was so hilarious.

Happy Valentines Day

Lucy asked me the week of Valentines who came Valentines Eve night? "You know like Santa comes Christmas and the Easter Bunny comes at Easter?" I had to disappoint her and tell her that its just Mom's and Dad's that do Valentines so don't expect too much. Little did she know I LOVE holidays and I'm a sucker for Valentines Day. So Valentine's Eve I decided to decorate the table so when the kids woke up there would be a big surprise. I know I have set myself up for future Valentines Days. Anyways Adam was gone, he had gone camping with the Scouts so it was up to me (which is why the streamers did not get put up-hate doing it). It was so fun-Lucy didn't want to open presents until Dad got home but caved except for Guitar Hero which we wouldn't let her open until Adam did get home. She was just so happy with everything and excited about the pretty decorations. Even Grey was super excited-could it be because he got a big red ball, balloons, AND Matchbox cars? I think so. They also got awesome Camelback water bottles. My friend Kristin got me one and they are always fighting over who gets to use it.
The last pic is when Lucy realized what the big box she had been waiting for ALL day was Guitar Hero. She has been asking for it ever since our friends brought theirs over to our place to play. Her fav part? Singing-even though she doesn't know the words:)

Cute Grey

Grey did the sweetest thing the other day. I think I mentioned earlier that he has really become a daddy's boy. Well he found a bag, put it around his neck, gave me kisses, said and waved bye bye, and headed to the door! Why is this so cute you are wondering? That is exactly what daddy does every morning going to work/school. I had never seen him pretend play like that and seriously so adorable. And Grey kept doing it over and over-he wants to be just like Daddy when he grows up:) Man I love that boy-even though he spent pretty much the entire day yesterday screaming and throwing fits because he can't have everything he wants just when he wants it:)

*Note: No we did not take these pics. My friend Amanda did (this summer playing in the fountains at the Arboretum) and I just got my act together and posted them.

Our friends Marcus and Zoe

Not sure how many of you know, but I have been helping my friend and neighbor Marcus with his little one year old Zoe. He teaches at a local college and I watch Zoe. His wife died while pregnant from a brain aneurysm but was kept on life support to give Zoe more time to grow and develop. Its a sad story and while Stacy (mom) was on life support the local ABC news station did a story on all of them. Sunday they did a follow up story now that the case has been settled. Anyways just thought some of you would like to see it.
