First Molar

I know she looks sad-VERY sad but in my defense she was never ever going to pull it! It had been loose for what felt like FOREVER and she was in the bathroom wiggling it and I gently pushed her arm down which enabled Lucy to pull her own tooth out!

Despite the adorable note (she "takes box tops too" lol her elementary school was collecting them and students got to exchange box tops for a small prize but STILL lol) the Tooth Fairy forgot to visit!!!!! eeekkkk but did make up for it the following night. Lucy handled the disappointment surprisingly well. My baby lost a MOLAR and wrote a note in cursive-she is growing up so very fast, way too fast....

GreyGrey B-Ross B-Shell's 4th Birthday!

Started with a dinner the night before at Texas Road House.

He got to sit in the birthday saddle and be yeehawed at. He hated it.

But ice cream made it all better.

4th Bday Superhero style of course!

His only request was a cake AND cupcakes. So we had a birthday cake and birthday cupcakes.

My fav moment of Grey's bday was that night when he and I got the cake back out and two forks and dug in.....which we also did the next morning for bfast mmmmmm

Back to School

Not sure why (maybe the move to a new house, me also being in school, me working at my internship) but this year I only have a first day pic of Grey.....whoops! But at least it is an amazing one!

Have NO CLUE what this is, but good job Grey!

First Snow!

First snow in our new house in our very own backyard with best friends Jake and Sadie Adamson. Even better-I got to stay INSIDE all warm and cozy!

Finals

The following photos are not unusual, they are a typical night of me trying to study (around 11pm):
Of course at least one laptop, one accounting textbook, and one notebook.....

And Grey slaying Ninjas with his Samurai sword.

I sure do love him.

Grey's FAV Gift

Enough said.

Christmas 2011

This has not been my favorite holiday season. Finals and internship really took the "spirit" out of me along with really painful feet. But despite the chaos we still had some Christmas fun. Grandpa cut out (what felt like a million but more like 40) wooden presents for me to decorate as gifts for friends. Lucy and I along with one of her friends, Zoey, made suckers for the neighbors. And the holiday season is not complete with some crazy school project that Lucy remembered at 8pm the night before it was due. She once again did a report on Christmas in France and we made 30 or so yule logs (we as in me, along with typing the report, and making the poster). Christmas fun really began when I had surgery on both feet on the 23rd. Awesome. But we still seemed to do our traditions, making cookies for Santa, new pjs, watching The Polar Express and of course watching Elf. (All movie watching took place in Mama's bed this year and yes I added the pics of us not cause I looked presentable but a memory is a memory) Merry Christmas to all to all a GOOD NIGHT! whew

(Lucy got an iPad!!! For REALS yo!)

Sant-e Claus!!!!

*Yep, I am THAT mom! I started snapping pics with my phone as soon as they started walking towards the man and did NOT buy one the "elves" took of my kids sitting on his lap. Hey, I'm a poor STUDENT!!! I spent the money on dinner and cookies instead ;)

Elf on the Shelf

Lucy and Grey LOVED our little visitor. Each morning they would jump out of bed to find Jr. They even took turns finding him and calling Dad to tell him where he was hiding that morning. Jr even helped with behavioral issues....well at least for the first couple of days hahaha. Grey figured that if Jr couldn't see or hear him that Grey could still be naughty and get away with it. And looking at Jr's naughty list, I guess Grey was right. (sigh)

Veterans' Day 2011

This year Veterans' Day was two days before Lucy's bday so fortunately Adam was here for it. Lucy's school had an assembly to honor our Veterans and Lucy was able to show off her Dad :) The cutest moment was when the principle asked for the family members of the soldiers to stand up so they could be recognized, Lucy was the first one to jump up. She is soooo proud of her Papa:)
