No Pics

but a sweet moment. Its late, I just finished an online quiz and I'm surrounded with so much homework I have no idea where to begin. Grey will not sleep by himself-ever (see two previous posts). I am not sure what he is so afraid of-it is either Superhero Villains or bugs (real one like spiders on the ceiling). Lucy, without me having to ask, helped him brush his teeth, read him books, and is lying by him in his bed. Although I wish it was me reading to both of them, I LOVE the fact that Lucy can take responsibility for her little brother and that Grey finds love and comfort from his big sissy. I had to write this down, because tomorrow I will have forgotten it even happened. Okay back to my homework.

Seven Peaks

To celebrate our last official day of summer I took the kids to Seven Peaks Water Park. Lucy brought a friend from school, Savannah, so she could go on all the scary slides. Grandpa came to help me keep an eye on all the kids. They had fun, I got my first sunburn for the year (I am happy about it, I need to be a little brown!), and I am still exhausted.

SERIOUSLY!!!!

This is how I have been sleeping at night since the kids got home. I am NOT happy about it.

LuLu Grey Me:((((

Re-united and It Feels So Good!

I had a welcome home party(post and pics to follow) for Lu and Grey after being in California for 5 weeks. We were all thrilled that John and Erin were in town and could come. They all still play so good together, although it is now the boys that play together and the girls that play together. I was surprised, but John and Grey were such good buddies and Erin loved following Lucy around. ADORABLE!!!!

They all wanted to strike a poise in Grandma's flowers, NOT my idea.

Mama's Day 2011

I decided this year the best way to celebrate my day was to take the kids to Park City for the weekend. We got there LATE friday night but that didn't stop us from swimming as soon as we got there. We swam until midnight. Spent Saturday shopping, eating out, and sleeping. We ended the weekend with the yummiest breakfast at my FAV bfast stop in Park City. Perfect!

I had bought the kids some fun pool toys. But NOT so fun for me!!!! I didn't think about my having to blow them up!

Staying up late to swim and waking up early to shop tires a boy out!

Can you see that I have double bags under my eyes! I'm getting too old to stay up late partying.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The "Barlow" Boys

My Dad only had three daughters, never a son. Thirty years later he has sons from 40 something to one.

Jackson, Kelly, Joseph James (this was at his mission farewell), Grey, Kye, Grandpa Barlow, Grant, Cole, Steve

Just Grandpa and the grandsons

Summer With Dad!

I have to admit, I thought that Lucy and Grey would come back from Dad's house looking like this:

But instead they did some of this....

and this...

and some of this....

(Grey does NOT like gutter balls)

Of course some of this! (tv watching but summer in Death Valley calls for this)...

And a trip to Dad's is never complete without some of this....

Grey's front tooth had been chipped for over a year, I had missed this "perfect" smile:)

And Lucy was lucky enough to do some of this!!!!
