Their Summer Vacation:

I obviously have months to make up for. So I thought I would start with how our summer vacation began. For the last day of school Lucy invited three friends for a celebration day/night (much better than the girl/boy party she was trying to talk me into). We went to the park and while the girls had a silly string fight, Grey had a duel of sticks with some boy at the park. Grey's stick was actually too heavy for him to cause any actual harm-thank goodness. Then the girls (Sadie, Lucy, Katie, and Meg) and I went to Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2. We finished the celebration of the last day of 2nd Grade with pizza back at Grandma's house.




I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the Salt Lake City Art Gala, and Lucy and I had so much fun having a Smash Box make-up artist who just happened to be in Sephora that saturday who did our make-up. We felt beautiful!!


Finally, its not officially summer until you have your first Rainbow Snow.

They're Back!

Superheros lined up along the bathtub means only one thing, Grey and Lucy are back home!
They were excited to see mom:)


But even MORE excited to see their besties-Sadie and Jake Adamson. Sadie was so excited that she rode with me down to St. George on Friday just to see Lucy one day sooner. It was a crazy 24 hours but they are home safe and sound.

Lucy went to her FIRST sleepover party! They made sleepover cupcakes, which I found ADORABLE!!!! Lucy in her sleeping bag with a marshmallow pillow and teddy graham teddy bear.

One fine day, I had to go to work (of course) and my lifelong friend Carrie Randall (yep she will always be a Randall to me) watched Grey along with his BFF Jake. Carrie is AMAZING! I got these txtd to me. The first pic said "Guess Who?" Made me LOL!!!

Obviously the baby wasn't to amused with the big boys being babies as well.

The Only Award I Will Receive in College!

BAP=Bata Alpha Psi=Accounting Fraternity=WAY COOL PEPS......or not (notice the Nerds candy???). During out last meeting, a few awards were handed out to outstanding members. So mine was not for any GREAT achievement....but hey BAP Cheerleader (cause I do love me some Accounting) I'll take it.

Lil' More Easter

Just wanted to post what is kinda sorta a tradition for Lu and me. We love making Rice Krispies bird's nests with candy grass (not so yummy) and candy eggs. We make them for her class, the kids love and Lucy thinks I am a kind of ok mom.
