Lucy's First Time Snow Skiing!

Snow Basin!!!! I took Lucy skiing for her first time last saturday. She did lessons in the morning, then we skied all afternoon. Lucy loved it and was really good! We both had so much fun-except for one thing: the lift makes me motion-sick after awhile!!!! Why is it I just seem to get older and older?! The lift was always my fav part-NOT ANY MORE!

I had to add this Patty's Day Pic. I took shamrock cookies and green juice to Lucy's class to celebrate the holiday. I wanted to take lots of photos, but as usual she thinks I'm lame and refuses. So I snuck one (which is why its sooo blurry) of her eating. She sits by Sam Smoot, he lives behind us. Lucy is going to be so mad when she sees this heehee!

St. Patty's Day 2011

We love St. Patrick's Day at our house. We believe in leprechauns so they visit us every year (you must believe or they don't come and play tricks on you!). This year Lucy's made a little place for him to rest along with refreshment (nerds candy and water). Hey Santa isn't the only one who deserves a little treat. Every year he decorates part of the house and leaves a yummy treat. This year it was a path of Jelly Bellies and green coins that lead from the kids' rooms to pots filled with gold coins, Rolos, and carmel apple suckers. He ALWAYS gets a little to excited and leaves WAY too much candy!!!! When will he EVER learn?!?!

I'm Baaack!

Yep, it has been awhile. Life has been so much busier than I ever imagined! What has been happening in our lives:
-I am more than half way through my second semester at the U. I LOVE school. I have to admit, I am blogging right now in the middle of class. Why? I can barely keep my eyes open and this sort-of keeps me awake and gives the appearance of me paying attention.
-I made the Dean's List! Whoo Hooo!
-I have found out that Calculus=Hell, really.
-Grey turned 3 and started Preschool.
-Grey LOVES Playdough, playing games, and reading books! MAJOR for Grey to sit still long for any of these activities.
-Lucy turned 8, got baptized, and had a ballet recital (and Grey LOVES watching ballet! Wow shocker really).
-Lucy became WAAAYYY too cool for her mom :(
-Lucy got her ears pierced, hope she keeps it up this time.
-We went to Disneyland....still tired from that trip!
-I got certified to teach Spin classes. I LOVE it!
-Did my first century (well half cause I was getting frost bite).
-Joined a cycling racing team.
-Went snow skiing again just last weekend for the first time in 12 years. Which means I'm old! Going to take Lucy this weekend-I'm super excited!
This of course isn't all but its all I can remember in this half asleep/half awake state. I hope to keep up on this-life shouldn't be so busy that I can't keep record of it!
